The problem

Access without understanding. The problem isn't access to medication — it's ensuring patients receive the full benefit of it.

Clinics catch technique errors with an observer in the room. Most patients never get that. Existing tools are either effective but hard to scale, or scalable but unable to coach in real time.

The part that does the work

A 12-gram passive clamp — no electronics, no contact with the drug path.

Our solution

A simple clip-on attachment that turns existing inhalers into intelligent health tools.

AeroSleeve clip-on sleeve clamped over an inhaler boot, with a small acoustic pickup port

Works with existing inhalers

No need to replace the inhaler a patient already uses. The sleeve clamps to the boot exterior only — never the mouthpiece or the aerosol path.

AI-powered coaching

Detects specific technique errors — seal leak, timing offset, inhale speed — and gives personalized feedback.

Affordable & accessible

Only the clip-on sleeve and the mobile app. Any $60 Android phone works — no electronics in the sleeve at all.

How it works

01

Clip-on attachment

Passive acoustic sleeve clamps onto the inhaler boot.

02

Phone capture

Phone listens from a short distance away. Acoustic signals collected without touching airflow.

03

ML analyzer

A learned classifier identifies technique faults, not just events.

04

AI coach

The app turns the result into plain-language coaching.

Innovation

Proprietary calibration cavity

Literature reports ~90% F1 and 91% accuracy for long-range inhaler classification through a phone, with one recurring limitation: signal variability across phones and distances. Our calibration cavity amplifies and stabilizes the acoustic signature of the medication release, and deconvolves the mic and room response.

Air path is untouchable

No geometry ever intersects the mouthpiece, plume, or canister — verified automatically on every variant.

Low-cost by design

No electronics, no batteries, no extra hardware to buy. Just the sleeve and a phone you already have.

Impact

Breathing better through accessible innovation

Every correct breath is a better chance at a healthier life. Our goal is to make expert inhaler coaching available to everyone, anywhere.

Our product supports 4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
SDG 3

Good health

Improves inhaler technique so patients receive the full benefit of their medication.

SDG 4

Quality education

Real-time coaching helps patients learn and build proper technique over time.

SDG 9

Innovation

Combines affordable hardware and AI to improve respiratory care using existing inhalers.

SDG 10

Reduced inequalities

Makes personalized coaching accessible without expensive medical devices.
